Connecting an Iphone to 320d 04 plate

Hi

I've just bought a 04 plate 320d ES (although no operating manual). I was wondering a few things:

On the dash is a button that looks like a face with lines coming from it. I've deduced this relates to some form of telephone option. How does this work?

Also, I have an Iphone 3g and was wondering if it is possible to connect it to the radio for ipod purposes? Is there an AUX plug or something?

I'm not really familiar with the e46, but I don't think there is a aux plug. That said, check out DICE Electronics - their full ipod/iphone integration kit is 170 dollars + postage ... probably a little over a 100 pounds altogether by the time it gets to you.

go buy yourself an fm transmitter and plug it into your media player. Works with any fm radio and they cost as little as $10-30 at walmart. People crack me up with this iphone culture business.

FM transmitters are horrible. If you want a low tech solution and have a tape player, buy a tape adapter and use that.

fm transmitters make everything sound like crap, not to mention they only work a third of time without interference of some sort.
