I have a '99 328i. What are the torque and HP increases from the Conforti Sharking ECU reprogrammer? Are there any dynos for this particular model BMW? Or does BMW extract every HP it can from this engine with no more room for the Conforti to extract HP?
I have the conforti shark and dinan intake. There is a HUGE difference.
I at first was planning on mods such as sound and lights and cosmetic work.... ever since I sharked all I've wanted to do is engine mods. After you feel that added power once, you'll never be able to drive any other car.
My car has an extended 100,000 mile warranty and I don't want to void it. Is the Conforti easy to install and (more importantly) easy to reprogram the factory settings so I don't get in trouble each time I go in for inspections? Also, can this be done by a novice like me who really is not mechanically inclined?
The entire installation for it took me like 15 minutes. And 10 minutes of that was sitting around waiting in anticpation for the lights to start pulsing differently. And I am not mechanically inclined at all either...

What kind of intake? [/b][/quote]
ecis intake..
i had a 98 328is with conforti intake, with shark and supersprint.. in a back-to-back comparo of the ecis vs conforti intake on the same car, the conforti always produced a couple more hp and tq... (due to the better flowing ITG) so I remembered those statistics of that dyno for my own car's mindsake.. thinking i should be putting down similar numbers for essentially identical mods..
