computer issues

Well this is my first BMW...other than family memberswho have owned one. Mine is 2001 330i, performance, sport, and cold weather package, I may never drive/own another car! I replaced the cig lighter fuse that was blown so I can fun my fuzz buster, and checked the fuse for the anti theft (which was fine) since I don't think it is activating, ie no signals other than doors loocking, and I know it has one because the original window sticker listed it as standard feature, which I will get repaired...anyway, after checking those fuses, I noticed that the trip,odometer, etc options are not toggling when I press the switch on the end of the turn signal arm...it's stuck on the clock option that I had to reset when I noticed it....so what gives??? does the compouter need to be reset when you pull a certain fuse???....also, the oil light comes on occasionally for about 10 seconds after having started a warm car....Never experienced these issues...than again never had a BMW...any comment greatly appreciated...

Dunno about the fuses part but what color is the oil light? If its yeallow means that you need about a quart to top off the engine oil and if red mean that yu better haul ass to a dealer and get some oil changed.......or it could just mean that whatever screwed up your console display is screwing around with your oil sensor....I would take it to the dealer pronto......before the whole shin-dang comes apart...the entrie thing costs like 1600$ to replace....... ghead

I am having a simialr problem it is stuck on the tempurature and i own a 2001 325i sedan.It worked fine and then it didn't It stopped yesterday.
