moto is an unknown quantity at this point
Hello bimmer fans. My 2000 328i makes a
sqeaky noise which lasts for only a few seconds when
the car sits for more than three days. If I start it the
next day, it is fine. It sounds like a pully/belt noise.
Also, I plan on putting the car away for the winter
next month. Is there any special things I should do?
I plan on adding a fuel stabilizer in the gas tank. I
will probably start it once in a while to.

highly likely a bad pulley.... causes the belt to go poo poo...

Pull out a stethascope and plant that thing next to the pulley you suspect, either that or pull out a foot long flathead screwdriver to see where the squeaking/screeching is coming from whilst you listen to the handle for funky noises. Obviously be careful where you put the stethascope or flathead..... Things can get messy inside the engine bay. I replaced a pulley around 75k along with a belt.
