Cold Air Intake? - BMW Forum

Hello I am new to this forum, I am not sure if there is a thread of this up already I looked, not that hard, and did not find any but I was wondering where i can get a good cold air intake for a 2004 BMW 320i that adds good HP, and not to expensive. What intakes are best for performance for my veichle?

CAIs dont really make much HP if any but they do sound good. You can make your own, or get one off e-bay and put a good filter.

K&N is the only one I use.... Really great product!

Air intakes dont really add hp?
hmm i always thought they added like 8+ hp?
I know its not much but its something?
What about Performance chips any for my car?

The standard e46 system is good.
it allready sucks up air from the front of the car.
only replace your standard filter with k&n, loose the cat converter, keep the oxygen sensors, get a branch if you can and go..

Thanks guys, okay I purchased a K & N Air intake off eBay cant wait till it gets in

Anything else I can do to my 04 320i that will increase performance besides exhaust or turbos?
Anywhere I can get a good Chip from?

There is a list of chips there. But all of them look fake to me ...?
