peterkulesza 3rd Gear Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: Baltimore MD Car: Posts: 729 Photos:	picking up my car tonite: cold air by afe (bought from bavauto) i will report soon (the cost was VERY reasoable $270, $130 installation) whether it made any difference.

peterkulesza 3rd Gear Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: Baltimore MD Car: Posts: 729 Photos:	afe filter: 1. nicer sound over all, slightly louder. 2. can hear the car breath in when stepping on the gas (whaafhhssss!) 3. marginally improved performance, but definitely noticeable between 2 and 4.5 krpm. no difference top end.
