Just pulled the coils on my 99' 323i due to a misfire...turns out there was water in the #6 coil...cleaned them all up and sprayed some silicon in each. Car runs like new now.
However, I did notice that all six coils look like they have been subject to excessive heat...time to replace?
Car has 146k, I think they are the originals.
