Check engine light on...Help!

Hey guys i just purchased a 2003 330CI and my cel light has come on. These two codes are popping up in the OBDII scanner- PO171 and PO174. I also hear a sucking sound 5 seconds after i shut the car off coming from around the MAF Hose. I also hear a hissing noise coming from the back rear right of the car when it is turned on. I have included two pictures below that show a hose ( im unsure what this hose is for and what it connects to?) thats connected to to MAF hose and it is cut in two places indicated by the red circles i have drawn. Please help!

You need to replace that hose, that easy as its letting it to much air.

isnt that the air inlet silencer and does it need to be attached cause mine is off

That looks like an electrical duct to me, are you sure its a hose???
