my front check light comes on when i turn on the ignition..which means a front light is out..but.....no lights are out,,,and it goes off after about 5-10 seconds
i have checked all the lights and they all function
it just goes off after about 10 seconds
weird
anyone help me???
i have read the manual
the check light comes on even when i HAVE NOT put the lights on......
seems like something is warming up???

Check the connectors on the back of the lights to make sure they are snug and locked in. Mine used to do that but I tightened the connectors and they are fine now. Good luck.
Just my experience...my front blinker light did that for a while. It always worked but the dash light would come on and go out occasionally. I just changed the bulb and it stopped doing that. Maybe its just a sign that its close to going out. Good Luck!
if the check control display continues to show a light out but no light is out check the bulb and socket for signs of "burning" very common on BMW's if so you must replace both the socket and the light.
