I just got my '05 330xi (with the Harmon Kardon option) and it is stipulated in the user manual that the cd reader can read MP3 files. I never try it since I have not a CD like this.
When I will put my hands on a MP3 CD I will try both in the in-dash CD reader and in the CD changer. I will post the result here.
