when i drive, the CD player skips or sounds distorted. Is this because i am playing a CD-R or could it be a problem with the cd player? This problem just started recently and I am just wondering if it messes up with certain cd-r's or something.
Refer to your CD manual if you have one. I usually play CDrs all the time and none have skipped unless I went over a bad pothole or the railway line. But it could very well be the Cdrs......but most players will outright reject all CDrs they dont like......if it plays and skips couldbe the CDr has been scratched .....maybe its dirty.........buy a 10$ CD player cleaner and run it through your system.
