Cannot start my car BMW 325i e90

Hi,

This morning I tried to start my car. It didn't. Two weeks prior today I noticed that it takes a bit longer to start car. It was kind of wheezing for 2-4 seconds and then it starts.

But today it was wheezing for 1-2 seconds and couldn't start at all. I was thinking it could be battery, but I checked indicator on the top of it and it looks green. Also I didn't get any notification on the dashboard . Picture attached.

Please let me know what could be the reason of that kind of behavior.

How old is your battery? I had noticed my 2006 325xi not starting with as much pep lately so I knew I was due for a replacement even though I was not getting any indication from the computer. Saturday it was dead after I moved it out to my driveway. A 10 minute charge and it fired right up but the next day I got a new battery and it fires up strong. I would suggest a new battery if it's 5-6 years old. It's better then getting stranded some where.

Sounds like your alternator. You can get your battery tested at most auto parts stores. I would recommend you do that. If the battery comes back fine, I would look into having your alternator tested and replaced.
