I have a friend that is trying to order the kit for heated seats and we called the dealership and it is over 500 USD just for the wires. Not the heated coils and nothing is pre cut. It is extremely lame. In the other post I had going there was a write up with a part number that will work for an E36. Part number: 52 11 94 02 814 the write up says the guy paided 432 DM.

I need the kit for an E46. I was wondering if there is someone who is willing to get the kit from europe somewhere or direct from germany. The price difference is worth the hassle, and I can paypal direct or whatever.

Not worth it if i may say. 1 USD = 0.92 EUR is the latest coversion rate I have from google...maybe I am wrong but its definitely less. I was in Paris a few months back and boy did the US seem a third world country compared to that place. Everything was so damned expensive.....whew i was glad to be back here. Even if the part is say 100-200$ cheaper you will prolly end up paying that much in shipping or to whoever is getting it here. The only other way would be to take a trip to deutchland and smuggle the parts back in cargo......even then you would end up paying duty and all that sh**. Just stick to non-heated seats.....beleive you me I have two heated seats and I was in Iowa and now missouri......never ever used them.....they are just a gimmick.

My 0.02.......all the best buddy......
