I have a 2000 BMW 323i with in-dash CD (no changer). I would reallly like to have a navigation system installed but dont want to go with clunky 3rd party systems. Can I purchase one from bmw parts and install it, or does there need to be some sort of pre-wiring already done in the car? What are my options? What are the Costs?
you can purchase the BMW NAV system, but it will be very costly to get it installed as they will need to rearrange your climate control and such. your best bet is to go with an aftermarket kit. some of them actually have better monitors, especially if you want to install a DVD player to play movies later on.
