| I know of one guy who did this (Google MITE46). Custom front fenders were made by merging coupe and sedan parts. In order to perfect the fenders, a total of 5 front fenders had to be sacrificed to find the best joining area. So, no, you can't just do what you had planned, but it is, indeed, possible.
