which camshaft sensor is bad?

hey my scanner says my camshaft sensor is gone. bank 1. which one is that? drivers side or passenger? thanks guys

right on, thanks man. do you have suggestions where to get this for the best price? i've been getting parts from bmwpartsonly.com. im pretty new to the bmw scene though. thanks again

Hey bro, I get all my parts from Desert Motor Works. Email ruben@desertmotorworks.com, tell Ruben what you need, and he'll take care of ya. Great prices, awesome service, and if you need factory instructions for the cam sensor, he'll hook you up with that too.

hey zrdave, im not sure the model or even what brand it is. i borrowed to my buddy right after i was done with it. its orange and was like 75 bucks from my local parts shop. its a cheapy but works pretty good for what i need.
