Buy '99 323i Or Modded High Mileage 328i

I want to buy a BMW very soon. I had narrowed my search down to a modest maroon w/tan interior '99 323i. The car has everything that comes standard. NO extra packages. One owner 77,000 miles and very very well maintained. He is asking $13,500. I was pretty sure this was the car for me. Then I found a silver w/ black int'99 328i 5sp. with fully loaded with the sports, weather, everything!! Even has 18" chrome M3 rims. The car seems to be very well maintained. I would like to get it inspected to verify. The owner has the title and is selling for 13,500 OBO. But the mileage scared me. It has 108,000!!!!! MILES. Is this something I should be worried about with a BMW?? How many years can I expect before I see the age of the car start to show? What would you do?

Id say get the 328i because it has powerrrrrr right off the bat. I also had a 328i 5spd with 120,000 miles on it and was still running strong. 108,000 is nothing for a BMW if properly taken care of.

Now if you mod the 328i itll be fastt. and could easy keep up with an e36 m3 or even beat it.

My vote is for the 328!!!!!!!!!!!!
