After driving my 328Ci I smell what smells like burnt oil. I see no drip spots on my garage floor anything. Car doesn't get hot. Just noticed smelled tonight so I'll check the oil tomorrow after it cools and settles. Could it be burning oil, dripping on manifold, or what?
I've got an '05 330 CI and it has a very slight oil leak at the valve cover gasket. It then drips onto the exhaust manifold & burns off, Look very carefully for a small dark spot. Just might be what's going on with your car.
