Is it safe to buy an E90 the first year out or wait until the bugs are worked out?

I would wait for the bugs to get out. I have heard with some bugs already in the new 5 series and since BMW thinks that they have to computerize EVERYTHING I would think that it would be a good idea to wait...but some people just have to have everything right when it comes out so whatever floats your boat.

A co-worker bought a 525i when they first came out. That thing's been at the dealership more times that I can remember. I would wait.

Well, what can I say, I bought the last E46 edition (2005) and the A/C bug (terrible smell when A/C is not running, caused by spore accumulation) is still there. n
