Brushed Aluminum Trim

Is there a way to special order Brushed Aluminum trim without getting the premium package? Or is there a way to order the premium package minus BMW Assist? I would like Brushed Aluminum trim, but I have no need for BMW Assist. Thanks.

yes you can. (for the trim) i dunno about the BMW assist.

If the dealer wont let you, you can order the trim separetly at your own time. check www.circlebmw.com

My car came with the premium package 'wood' and soon ordered the matteChrome trim from circle bmw for $405 (coupe) and installed it myself.

if you have a sedan, "Brushed Aluminum" is not offered from BMW...from my sources. But if you have a coupe, you can get the brushed aluminum. Let me know what you like and ill get you part numbers.

MatteChrome: pretty much aluminum
Titan Shadow: darker style of MatteChrome
Brushed Aluminum: Real aluminum with brushed grains
silver cube: silver carbon fiber looking
black cube: black carbon fiber looking

EDIT: forgot to mention, if you have a couple, i need to know what color interior you got cuz the trim come in whole units, meaning the underside of the trim pieces are matched to the interior of the car.

Damn I got a sedan so I guess aftermarket Brushed Aluminum is out then. Thanks for the info. Guess I will make do with the Titatium stock trim.

I have the sedan ('04 325i) as well and installed a new set of mattchrome a few weeks ago. Call Circle BMW and tell them you want a set of mattchrome. Give them your VIN to make sure you have a match. Here is what it looks like...

I have an 02 Sedan. I got the car in Canada. When I ordered it I got the brushed chrome. It does exist...

yes that is my car in MatteChrome. Sedans have everything but Brushed Aluminum. my ETK for E46 3 series 2003 shows NO brushed aluminum, not even the Special Order Individual page.

Alright then, Woobie?. I see you added your own radio to the car. i have the same radio you do, as per looks, in my old bimmer('93 325i). and i want to move it over to my new one('03 325i).

could i get some more info on what you had to do to install it?

the headunit is an alpine 7894 (mp3 cd w/ matching amber lights)

i installed it at a store called Tweeter. The mount was very inexpensive and the install was pretty straight foward. Im sure any audio shop can help you install it.
