| Broken USB port in console-help!
My USB port in my '07 328i is broken-the pins are crushed and the tab is missing. I think I can replace the connector-if I can get the top of the console under the armrest off. I've seen good DIYs about getting the rear of the console (with the vents, etc in it) and the trim in the front off-but nothing about getting the storage tray out. It looks like it comes off from the top-I've pulled up the console around the shifter successfully, but am afraid to just pull up on the section of console with the USB and Aux connectors. Anybody done this? |
