brake rotors

hey guys i am in need to replace all 4 of my brake rotors asap, what i am wondering is can i put on any 3 series rotors thats in the same year as my car (a2001 318i) or do i have to find specific 2001 bmw rotors, as ive been looking and i havnt been able to find anyone able to supply 318i rotors or really parts in general?

Have a look at RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog
for comparing parts between the 3 series models. If you want to do this sort of work yourself, you should be able to pick up the rotors from a BMW spare parts dept, but you might have luck with Repco, or possibly a special order through Supa Cheap.

thanks for that, i was able to get the part numbers and i got a hold of acute performance and im getting a set for just over $100 us which is pretty good, i checked supa cheap autobahn and even pedders but they all wanted over 500 for it(cheapest bieng supa cheap) altho i didnt check out the bmw spare parts dealer, i have no idea where the closest one to townsville is

Just make sure the disc aren't made of something silly (aluminium). What did you pay in postage for 4 discs US to Aus?

i havnt got them yet im still pricing it up but they want 225 through ups and its 90 a pair for front drilled/slotted and 85 a pair for the rear but again on wat i might save on these im spending on shipping so yea

so from what i understand on them not a bad thing, but again shipping is wat will kill me, cheaper then wat ive been priced where i am in townsville tho, so i havnt got much choice really, i should get my pads while im there to, to save on shipping lol
