Boot / Trunck Release

Am I missing something or is there a way you can open the boot whilst in the car other than having to take your key out of the ignition and releasing it using the remote

How frustrating, surely BMW thought of this?

smallish narrow button next to the hood release (above it in my car).

Your car should have a button under the black lip on the trunk lid, if you unlock the car with the unlock button on you center consol (All Doors) you can then step out of the vehicle with it still running and press the trunk release on the the trunk lid and the trunk should open, without you having to take the key out of the ignition.
Hope this helps out. The only other thing that I would have to tell you is that not all models come with the trunk release on the inside of the car above the hood release, mine does not have this feature but it does work the other way that I mentioned above.

I'm aware of the relase on the boot, Its just that I heard that some models have a release button above the bonnet release, I've looked for this but I don't seem to have it.

My car's a 330Ci Sport, what models have this button?

I want one!!!!
