Hey all,

I know that the BMW extended warranty needs to be added to the car before it hits 4 years/50,000 miles.....Do you know if this rule also applies to the maintainence package?

Looking to purchase a 2001 CPO 325i (CPO till July 2007) with 56,000 miles on it....Do you know if I can add the BMW Maintainence package on it, or is it not possible now that the car has hit 50,000 + miles....

Also, anyone got a full brake job (front and rear) done at the stealership recently.......

Thanks guys.

I have a 2001 325i Sport sedan and the quote I got for front brakes was 574.94 and the rear was 553.64. This of course was from the stealership. After visiting the stealership due getting an alignment they suggested that I only needed a front brake job. Hope this helps!

F.Y.I - the brake job included rotor replacement, pad replacement, brake sensor replacement, and Plastilube. I'm not sure if the plastilube was for the brakes or ... :wink

BMW Stealerships are notorious for using the plastilube on customers.
Thats if your lucky!

Plastilube or Vaseline...It really is your choice.
Either way your gonna get bent over the BMW Service Counter 90% of the time!

According to Bimmerworld, Plastilube is used to reduce squeal from your brake pads.
