| I'd guess you are outta luck. Bluetooth is a radio interface that has been adapted to cell phone use. Certain functions vis-a-vis cell phones have been standardized--i.e., "headset" kinds of stuff where audio is transferred to a different set of in/outputs. To my knowledge, things like phone book/contacts is a separate set of software in the phone that no one has tried to strandardize and isn't going to sync. I think you have to treat the BMW contact list as a standalone directory.
I've just started using Bluetooth with my Motorola V710, but haven't futzed with the BMW voice dialing stuff because the 710 has real voice recognition built in. For what it does, the Bluetooth is great tho'... |
