I went to the bmw dealers ( BLUEBELL )yesterday ,got the price for the M TECH STRUT BRACE ( BAR ) 195.00.
Then they tell me they can't sell me one.i needed to provide a chassis number for an M3.
Basically ghead NO M3 NO BRACE?

hmmm, strange. i got my brace without any problems and i didn't have to provide an M3 chassis number.

thats really messed up, i though you could buy the part no matter what. try calling them and asking over the phone , if they tellyou the same thing ask to talk to the manager and inquire why.

find an M3 on their lot, and give them the serial number for it.

You could also go to eBay and look up an M3. The VINS are listed with every car. But I really like the idea of taking a VIN from their lot. That's hysterical. Right back at them.

What a bunch of idiots. Business must be good.
