they have that,i think its called steptronic shifting system now. how fast does it shift? like if i go from second gear to third, how long does it take to switch over? i have a 03' 330ci manual myself, just wondering if i gotten the steptronic,it would be the same as my manual.

I have it on my 325. I never use it really. It shifts fast - faster than if you did it by hand I would imagine, considering that all you do is move the shifter 1/2". Only time I use it is on hills and shit.

it tries to blip in the sport mode. i'd test drive before even coming close to an autoimatic

i think it really really stinks bad. probably marginally better than other autoboxes though....

I was driving my friends dads 325i 4 door auto, and had this weird button thing below the gas pedal, and if say I was at like 4k, and I floored it, and hit the little button, it would like boost up real fast, but stay in the same gear...weird..and no, he doesnt have nos or anything, its completely, stock, or maybe it did down shift, but I really doubt it, Im pretty sure it stayed in the same gear, but weird...a button with more power non-nos.

oh btw, I got a new microwave today, Im so happy, and it has that Popcorn preset button, so tight.
