BMW 330i US Spec to EU standard

Does anyone have any experience in converting a US Spec 330i (2002) headlight system to the EU standard?

I am attempting to register my car here in Germany, but need to convert the headlight system to the EU standard before the Inspection station will approve the registration.

Most likely, you will need to get the Euro spec lights. I'm guessing the main issue is the plastic outer lens.

do you have xenon headlights or HIDs? Because afaik HIDs are illegal in Germany

I would talk with your dealer... but from what I know the think you need to worry about is the way the projector is angled.... for some aftermarket and custom headlights there is a screw/bolt that you can turn to adjust that projector to fit EC/UK driving specs.

This is true BUT when you buy a car in the US they will auto adjust in US standards (is bought in the US) if you bring that same car to the Europe you will need to get them adjusted again to fit there specs I doubt that they do it automatically. But come to think of it BMW may have a program that may be able to do the job....
