Afternoon All,

I bought this car a year ago and pretty dissapointed with its performance, so I have had the ECU remapped which only give it an extra 12 BHP so its now currently sitting at 132BHP. They tried to fit an upgrade air filter but it was wrong one and they said there wasn't any available for this model, they also said the same for the exhaust.

Can anybody recommend anything I can do to this model to increase the BHP, no what air filter, exhausts etc will fit and Web Links if possible.

First of all, welcome to bimmererkz!

Where are you located? I don't know much about the 4-cyl E90 models, but you may have a harder time finding performance bolt-ons than if you had one of the 6-cyl models. At the time I am not aware of a good place to find stuff for your car, but please do mention where you are. I will keep my eyes and ears open for anything that can help you. You may have to get something custom fitted or modified, but hopefully that is not the case.

I'm actually located on a small island called the Isle of Man. But its fairly easy for me to get across into the UK, Liverpool, Manchester etc. Its a real shame with this car, as it looks the part, but its definitely a "Sheep in Wolf's Clothing", however MPG is the upside, but on an island which is only 30 miles long, 15 Across, mileage isn't really an issue ! LOL

I too am disappointment with the power on this model...flat spot between 1'st and 2nd gear is common! Where and how did you get your ECU remapped? IS there a noticeable difference? would you recommend it?
