Bmw 316 Ti Engine Problems?!

hello i just from bristol to manchester, and got out the car when i got back in and started it back up it was idleing Very funny?! was like it was firing on half cyclinders.

it was Very rough and the engine light was on.

i was doing this for abt 10 mins.

after a few times of starting then turning off it started behaving ok.

i drove off and seemed ok but when i put the foot down a bit its has a small squeal.

HELP!!!!

the cars is a 2002 316 ti compact with 77000 miles on the clock.

Dont really know whats up...but 77,000 miles in just 2 years?? That is some hardcore mileage..that has most likely contributed greatly to the problem that you have.

ok had the AA over, they said something abt the throttle sensor?!
there where 3 problems all throttle sensor issues. any idears?


im a IT network engineer so im all over the country. i know it sucks.
