Angry blower staying on even when engine off

i have a 2000 se touring, and just overnight, the blower keeps running full on even when i turn the engine off...does anyone know why this can happen?: used:

Take a look at the post "auxilary fan" 2 posts down. Looks as thought this is a common problem.

sorry i didnt explain the situation fully...it is the internal heating blower that is the prob

EXtech is an unknown quantity at this point
if it is the blower motor for the ac/heater then generally one of two things are your problem.... Final stage resistor or the control unit.
