Have to realize that to alot of people, their luxury cars are just toys. When they break, they buy new ones. You'd be amazed how torn up I've seen cars come back to us. An XLR owner at our dealership brought it in to get it customized with an exhaust system and mesh grille and a bunch of other shit and we loand him a new CTS to use for 48 hours. When he returned the CTS there was no external signs of damage to the vehicle other then the puke all over the passenger fronts eat.. they then detailed the car and took it on a test drive and found the vehicle had a terrible vibration and would not track even remotely in a straight line.

Somehow in 48 hours he had managed to crack the subframe and bend the tie rods, among other things. More then $5,000 cost in repairs later, we had to sell the car at auction as a salvage vehicle, with less then 1000miles on the odo.

He denied ever having done anything other then going out to a club with it with some friends.

I persoanly never seen neglect that bad. Other than an 85 Chevy 2.8 that was DOA, When I got it started the motor smoked so much I thought it was a fog machine. I pulled valve covers off to "fix the leak" it had so much gunk built up in side the motor they acted like molds and I had to dig to even see the rocker arms. The owner later told me that he never changed the oil, when it got low from leaking out or burning off he'd just add a quart.

"Most car problems are normaly found somewhere between the steering wheel and the drivers seat....."
