| I'm going to be driving this car (325Ci soft top) to triathlons this summer where besides my sports gear I will need to rack no more than 2 bicycles. Obviously roof racks and hitch racks are out of the question. I've used trunk racks on a Hyuandai where I didn't care about the metal ends chipping the paint or the spongy rollers melting on the hot trunk surface.
Has anybody tried towing 2 bikes with this kind of car? What kind of rack was used? Manufacturer/brand? What if any adjustments/modifications were made to the rack/car to prevent scratches, paint chips, etc.?
Any recommendations/suggestions are welcome. |
