ok i just got an 04 330ci and the stock 17s are just too small for me and make the car kinda look unproportionate.. so i was thinkin 19 or 20... 20 may already be too big not to mention the car has the sport package so i think its a little lower.. any suggestions... 18s would save alot on price but i dont know if i will be satisfied with how big they are
btw 19 are the biggest I'd go on an e46 I'd actually rather take the 18s
i wanted to go 19 but all the rims that i like are either 18 or 20 so im probably gonna go 18 the 17s look ok on it but i want something a little bigger so 18 will look fine
I think the ride will get too harsh once you hit 19 and above on teh E46. Also, I think 19's will will ust fine, but 20's might require fender rolling, etc.

I personally think that if you go bigger than 18in. on an E46 you will regret it. My suggestion is to look for a set of 18inch M3 replica wheels on the internet.
They will look fantastic on your car and handle well too. You will also have a huge number of well-priced tires to choose from as well. In the long run I think you will be glad you did.
My E46 with M-Sport has the 18's and it looks wonderful and drives that way too, even over bad pavement. IMHO.
