yeah, im pretty sure you gain power from the headers, NOt the exhuast, so unless theres a huge discrepency, then you should go with supersprint, they seem to be the most reliable, plus the have shileding against noise...or look for something with a good warranty
I agree with M42technic, you're not going to gain much power.
It's not like BMW left a lot of power behind by dumping the exhaust into a crappy straight log of an exhaust header (like Ford did on my '97 Ranger). The stock BMW header is pretty good.
Let us know, though. It would be REALLY interesting if you were to spend an extra $150 to dyno the car before and after. I'm doubtful you'll wring anything more out of it.
I JUST BOUGHT A 330CI 2001 AND I'VE BEEN AT MARTELS RACING AND THEY RACE THREE BIMMERS AND I ASKED THEM TO SELL ME UPGRADED ONES AND INSTALL THEM AND THE OWNER SAID NO, I WOULDN'T GET ANY POWER ALL THOSE AFTER MARKET ACTUALLY REDUCED HP ON HIS OWNE AND DAUGHTERS BMW'S, THEY DYNOED IT AND THEN INSTALLED, HIGH FLOW CATS AND COLD AIR INTAKE AND A SHOP TO REPROGRAM THE COMPUTER, YOU'LL HAVE TO SIGN A WAVER AND FIND SOME ONE TO INSPECT IT THOUGH!! OHWELL
