Does anyone know about the "Benfer" brand CAI? They seem to be reasonably priced for my 99 323i. Not sure I want to step into a Dinan, or a more costly intake right now. I didn't know if anyone has one, and could tell me about the reliability of them. I checked around, and see that it yields approx. 7 to 10 HP for this price range of intakes. I have seen a lot of them on ebay, and wondered if this was an unpopular brand...any help would be appreciated.

benfer should be a great brand. its exactly the same as dinan except that its not carbon fiber, which wouldnt make a huge difference. they dont cost much at all for what you get

for e46 intakes, benfer, dinan, ECIS, gruppeM are top notch and are the way to go.

Thanks guys, for your responses. Yeah, the carbon fiber wouldn't make that much of a difference to me. I noticed that most of the benfers that I saw said "Dinan-like" and it appeared to be about the same as far as the bends go compared to the Dinan. For the money it sounds like a good choice. Thanks again!
