Battery Drain

I own a 2003 330ci.
The car wouldn't start so I jumped the battery. It then went flat again.I took it to a mechanic. He put in a new battery and showed me how the battery was not being drained while the car is off. However the car if left without starting for over 24 hours does not start and the battery needs to jumped again.
I should mention...
The climate control system has always acted a bit funny it turns itself on while I am driving.Once or twice the fans on dash seemed to stay on after I turned the ignition off.Maybe this is happening during the night it just seems something is drawing power from the battery overnight and I am wondering if anyone has a clue to what might be happening.

Any update?

Hi, I have had a similar problem recently and have raised my own post about it. Did you resolve yours?
