Battery cover

I broke the plastic cover that goes over the battery on the right hand side of the trunk. Does anyone know the name of this piece of plastic or where I can buy it at. I have a 2002 325ci. Any help would we greatly appreciated. Thanks.

its a battery cover? i dont wanna ask how you broke something like that, but in any case thats a part youll wanna get from the stealership,

Are you talking about the black plastic tray-like thing that sits over your battery? Thats the only plastic i can reccollect being in the battery area. Chances are you will need this from the dealer, or if you can find a junkyard in your area with an e46, you can just grab it there.

Yeah that is exactly what I am talking about. It looks like a plastic tray that sits over the battery. I was deploying over seas and I had to jump my other car and in a rush I broke the damn thing getting it off. I am sure it costs a million dollar$ at the stealership.

Check out www.bmw-parts.com , official BMW parts at good prices. I got a new splash guard for the front right of my car and it only cost me $40. I am assuming it shouldnt cost much more than that, being a smaller part.

Just describe the part for them and they will give you the P/n and price.
