I have a 1999 328i,going to be needing battery.What does everyone suggest?The arm and leg OEM?Or something other?Any suggestions?Any opinions would be helpful.
When mine died I just opted for the BMW OEM battery, true that it costs more, but you know that it will be a perfect fit, and with that gas outlet, some batteries won't have it. So I personally, would get a original dealer battery.

I bought a replacement battery from an after-market battery retailer about a year ago for my 2000 323i. 'BatteriesPlus' had a (94R) relacement available for $89.99. It fit perfectly, including the vent tube, and was about half the price that the "stealership" was asking. As with all batteries, you should check manufacturing <coded> dates. Why pay more?
I used a Deka 9AGM48 Euro Performance battery from a local battery distributor. It's worked out great!! A little on the pricey side, but it's an AGM battery, so it's solid. Good buy.
