It has been one year since I had my BMW 318I 1995 model.
Last week I changed the auxiliary fan fuse on my 318I (fuse no: 41 - 30A). It was burn since the day I bought it. I didn't notice earlier because even at 34ºC with a humidity of 85%, AC on and one hour of bumper to bumper traffic, the temperature gauge is always at the middle (the normal position, sometime you can notice that the main fan clutch is fully actuated).
Until now every thing is okay (when I start the AC the fan also start), the fuse didn’t blow up. I doubt that the fan electrical connector (situated at the bottom of the fan) is not 100% water tight, and may be a combination of water and dust may have caused a short circuit.
So I wonder if somebody had the same problem.
Thanks.
