automatic door locks

i have a 2003 325 xi and i was wondering how do you turn on the automatic door lock feature.

On my 7 series I had to do it via diagnostics...

You mean for the doors to lock once you get the car moving?

You probably will need to get that flashed in at the dealership. I am sorry to be the one to tell you

That means to have the car computer reprogrammed with the auto lock by a dealer's computer tool.

Any data stored on the car computer usually goes into solid-state flash memory. Hence the lingo.

i also have 2003 325xi and went and got auto locks and lights to flash when i lock using key fob at an indy shop and they did it for FREE and showed me how they do it with the computer,only takes them like 5-10 minutes. try indy shop before dealer.but mu auto locks still dont work,kinda sucks gotta figure it out.
