gasman is an unknown quantity at this point
Hello,
I have a new 330i ZHP - my first BMW. In a couple of weeks I am going to an autocross with my buddy who has a C32AMG. It would be great to beat him, especially since he is in A-Stock. I need some tips as far as setup goes - alignment, tire pressure, etc.........

Thanks!

ok first things. Alignment... yes. If your car goes straight with out your hands on the wheel your fine.
Second, tire pressure. Lots. Go almost to the max for your tires. It should say on the tire what the MAX psi is. You want to do this so you do not get any side wall roll.

Third when you sit down in the car, move the seat up. You want your arms to be very bent and you want to be as close to the pedals as you can and still operate them with out hitting your knees on anything.

Fourth, not dealing with car but you. Put your hands at 10 and 2. Then shuffle the sterring wheel, ie do not cross your arms while turning. For instance if you are turning right, push up with the left pull down with the right and then shuffle your hands back to 10 and 2 and repeat if needed, same way for returning the steering wheel to normal postion. Do these things and you'll be good.

whenever we autocross our porsches we take out everything that can easily be taken out like the spare tire and accessories, but in your car it wouldn't make much if any of a difference and im not even sure the zhp has a spare, so nm LOL
