scud is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi guys- Me 2000 328ci has the Dinan chip, installed from factory before I got it. I am wondering if it pays to try one of those cheaper "ebay" type intakes- instead of spending 400 bucks on a Dinan... LIke the short-tube K&N-style intakes... Let me know if you've had success or a miserable experience

benfer makes a very similar intake to the dinan one but for 200 or so less. they are sort of problematic though because they can get water on the filter. other brands include aa tuning and ecis. these are a different style and produce the same gains. people seem to chose aa tuning over ecis though
