Annoying Beep

How can I get rid of the annoying beep alarm when the door is open with the key in the ignition on my 1999 318i. What I would like to know is, if this feature can be turned off somehow, or work the same as the headlights on alarm. Only alarming for a few seconds. The radio can only be turned on with the key in ignition.
When cleaning your car, while listening to music, the beep can really go.

It`s simple ! pull out a key from ignition, or go "Russian" style-smash it with a hammer ! Ha, Ha , Ha .....

find the speaker and rip it out
