My A.E.'s are i think 4300k on the outside and 8000k-9000k on the inside they were 50 for the set so I can complain! they still work great!

I ended up buying those one on ebay for $35. It came with 4 rings, ballasts, mounting clips and ghetto instructions with very very poor english.
My car is in the shop now or I would get pics. They look AWESOME. I had LED angels (that I made) on my e30 for a summer...but I took them off because they looked stupid and they weren't bright. These CCFL AE's are sweet! Bright, great color temp...I went with ones that are 5000k and love the color.
I just need to get 4-5000k high beams and I'll be set!
When I was in Cali for a couple weeks back in feb/march, my e46 sat in my driveway. When I got back something (or someone) scratched up the hood and passenger front fender. Some scratches could be buffed out, but some were down to the bare metal.
The estimate on the repair was $1300...so I'm letting my insurance paying for it. Put me out a cool $100.
I have ebay ones(about$40) and non ebay ones($95+ a 1 1/2 hour drive there and 1 1/2 hours back). The brightness and quality is the same on both the reason I went with the non ebay was they didn't have the color I want on the ///M otherwise there pretty much the same
