Alarm removal question - BMW Forum

I want to take an OEM alarm out of my e46. Does anyone know if I need to deactivate anything before taking it out? Can I just pull it out or will that make the alarm go off?

I think you can just take it out piece by piece and not have a problem. Not sure tho.

Is there anything wrong w/ ur alarm?

There is nothing wrong with the alarm. My lease is up so I want to remove any parts I put in.

I would think, be definition, that the alarm should go off if someone tries to remove it. I guess I'll just have to get in there and see.
