Aircondition Working Intermittently

My aircondition unit is working intermittently. The dears says that it may a resistor in the unit. Does anyone have any ideas.

if it is that the a/c won't blow any air along with the heater then it is most likely the final stage blower resistor. however if it is the actual climate control display that works intermittently it might be something else.

deffinatly agree with the above, final stage unit...very common as long as it is just the blower speed that is intermittant (as in the head unit says max but it is blowing lower than max) if the unit itself flickers on and off it is the control unit.
