Hi guys iv got a 328ci year 2000 the problem is the heater blower is going on to high speed even with it on low or on auto iv been told it could be the fan resistor.? the problem is were do i find it to replace it iv got the bmw cd and thats showed me what to do replace and solder back the wires. i can do that ok but do not know were to start to find it. does the dash have to come out or can i get to it via the engine bay.? please help as i don't want to be ripped off..many thanks sweetdude.
it is deffinatly the final stage unit and it is totally easy to replace. It's on the passenger side of the center consol close to the bulkhead (formerly known as a firewall)
