| airbag problem
Hello everyone I'm from Belguim so I will say in advance that I apologize for my bad english writing but I hope you will understand my probleme.
I have a BMW 320D e46 from 2002
On a day I was driving arround in town and I drove in a deep gutter with my right front wheel ( 18 inch low profile tyres ) and my left door airbag went off same as the one on the roof ( belguim that is the driver's seat ) now I don't mind driving with 2 airbags off so i pulled em out and restored the interieur back to how it was.. replacing the airbag would cost me arround 1200 euro's so I dident really wanne spend so much again on the car ( since I replaced the turbo and injection pump that was over 3000 euro's )? but now comes to probleme the airbag light is on in the car but I need to go to test my car so I can drive my car on the road but with that light on it will fail the test and I will need to fix this .. so I'm searching the net for a solution to bypass the light sensor.. my first idea was to buy B200 BMW Airbag (SRS) Scan & Reset Tool and reset the light (I don't have alot of experience with these equipments) or won't that fix my probleme ... ? If anyone has any Ideas for me it will be much appreciated !
