Airbag light on after wheel swap?!

How dumb is it? So my pup chewed on my steering wheel, don't ask LOL. I decided instead of buying the same wheel to upgrade to the M3 wheel. Got the wheel off my friend's totalled M3 and bought a brand new airbag off ebay. I swapped the wheels, it was actually easier than I thought, connected the wires, pushed the bag in its place, and now the airbag light stays on.

Anything I can do about it myself? Or do I need a dealer to reset it?

you can not do it yourself unless you purchase a tool. Peake Research makes one. Or you can go to an independent BMW mechanic
